The meeting results in a Charrette Ready Plan and Stakeholder Analysis that sets the strategy for organizing the information and people for your project.The Charrette Ready Plan will identify the major activities required to prepare for the charrette. These activities include stakeholder outreach, engagement and education, base data collection and analysis and charrette logistics. The Stakeholder Analysis will identify all major viewpoints, people and organizations that need to be involved in the project. It will also identify their major issues, wins and the strategies for their involvement in the project. NCI can then coach you through the preparation and management of your charrette.

Sometimes a little professional support on your project process is all you need. NCI will work cooperatively with your core project team on the execution of your Charrette Ready Plan to identify the major activities required to prepare for a charrette. We will help make sure that nothing is left to chance in your charrette preparation.NCI can coach you through your charrette preparation phase from base research through stakeholder outreach. We can provide agenda reviews and strategy consultations prior to key meetings. We can also discuss and assist in the planning of your outreach strategy.

NCI Charrette System™ and NCI Management and Facilitation™ Certificate Trainings
Do you want to establish your firm as experts in charrette planning? If so, an in-house certificate training is the way to go. An in-house training is all about your organization’s needs, allowing you to train your staff while planning your projects. NCI customizes the training to include up to four of your projects as case studies, which is unique to the in-house trainings. Your key staff will learn by doing, through a series of hands-on exercises in small teams, using your organization’s projects as case studies.Some companies opt to train their staff with an in-house 3-day NCI Charrette System™ Certificate Training and then send one or two people to a public NCI Charrette Management and Facilitation™ Certificate Training in Portland or D.C.
The NCI Charrette System™ Certificate Training begins with a comprehensive overview of the entire NCI Charrette System™ including a day-by-day account of the process and products of a recent charrette. This first half-day of the training can be made open to a larger audience to educate stakeholders and project partners about the NCI Charrette System™ and prepare them for upcoming local projects. It can also serve as a PR event for your firm.
