As a NCI member, you will receive the new NCI 2009 Best Practices Report on Sustainable Community Charrettes, available only to NCI members. In addition to receiving the report your name will be added to our webpage, blog and the supporter page of our course manuals, depending on your membership level. All contributor level or higher members receive email feedback on your project questions from NCI Executive Director, Bill Lennertz.

NCI Awarded Federal Transit Administration Grant
NCI is proud to announce that we have been awarded a Federal Transit Authority (FTA) grant. NCI and Reconnecting America will partner to create the NCI Charrette System Guide for Transit Oriented Development (TOD). TODs are complex and challenging projects to plan and implement. Although much has been written on TOD case studies, as well as on particular tools for planning and public involvement, a comprehensive guide for planning a TOD using a multiple-day charrette does not exist. This grant supports the creation of the NCI Charrette System Guide for TODs, a scripted PowerPoint presentation based on the Guide, and the delivery of several free webinars.NCI 2010 Trainings
